Also, living in the woods, candles often become a very real necessity when the e-l-e-c-t-r-i-c-i-t-y  decides to go out. (I prefer to spell it out in case some trickster god is listening and thinks it would be funny to turn it o-f-f for laughs!)

These handmade candles from Old Factory are among my new favorites. First of all, I always enjoy a play on words, so the name is super cute. Secondly they’re hand-poured in the USA with natural soy wax, self-trimming wicks, and premium fragrance oils.

For my review, I chose the Happy Holidays set- with Christmas rapidly approaching, it seemed appropriate. Each set includes three different 2 oz candles that burn clean for 20 hours. Mine included Gingerbread, Candy Cane and Christmas Tree.

I found them to be highly scented enough that I could smell and identify each fragrance before even lighting them. They put me right into a holiday mood.

One of the great things about these candles is the wide variety of scent choices. I know I had a hard time choosing! Their sets include Fall Harvest, another holiday themed pack called Winter Wonderland, Romance (with roses, champagne and dark chocolate), Fresh & Clean, Spa Day, Vacation, Coffee Shop, Man Cave (with straight razor, leather and mahogany- intriguing!), High as a Kite (no comment!), Newborn Baby and 50 Shades.
