Dinosaur T-Rex Room Guard with Motion Sensor

Yes they’ve been extinct for millions of years, but dinosaurs are more popular than ever. I admit my own fascination and love for them has never waned from childhood.

If you’re looking for something new and exciting for your budding paleontologist this holiday season, the T-Rex Room Guard with Motion Sensor is a fun place to start.

Befitting his name, this guy is quite large and ferocious-looking, He’s lightweight enough for a small child to maneuver, while still feeling substantial. He’s recommended for ages 3 and up. But not only is he a cool giant action-figure toy, this fella will guard your child’s room with a selection of 5 motion-sensor activated ROARS!

Not only that, but he has another secret! Hidden in his back are three disks- sort of resembling smaller versions of the classic Viewmaster photo disks- except these project out of his chest into a 3 foot wall display. Your child can choose from 24 realistic dinosaur images that I think will double as a fun teaching tool to help them learn some of the different types of dinosaurs.  The disks are sturdy, hard plastic and easy for small hands to manipulate.

The T Rex runs on 3 AA batteries. The compartment is located on his underside and you’ll need a small screwdriver to open it.  I only had a short time to test out this toy, so I can’t say how long the batteries will last with regular use.

Though it’s safe for ages 3 and up children on the younger end of the spectrum might find it a little scary. Just make sure to use your knowledge of your own child before deciding to let them try it out. Aside from that, I know girls and boys alike afe going to love having their  very own prehistoric room buddy!
