What I love about the HotelSpa® AquaCare Series Insta Mount towel ring is that you can instantly move and place it anywhere in your bathroom, shower, or pool/hot tub area, yet it’s heavy duty enough to hold even your biggest, fluffiest spa towel (it holds up to 10 lbs).

It comes in a shiny chrome finish, which is ideal for most modern baths and kitchens. Luxurious Bathtub Pillow Review + Giveaway! Ends 9/27

I take my bubble bath time very seriously! Sometimes it’s the only time I have to myself during a hectic day and I think it’s so important for your sanity and creativity to have quiet moments that allow you to relax and regroup. Plus I really enjoy reading in the bath tub. I also have strict rules for what constitutes a perfect bathtime book- it can’t be too dry and scientific, but also not too light and fluffy. It has to have a certain substantial presence or I’m likely just to toss it on the floor, close my eyes and daydream. It seems the new wave of excellent YA novels often fit the bill precisely.

Anyway! In my pursuit of the More Perfect Bubble Bath, I decided to test out this Bathtub Pillow. This particular one is orthopedic grade, eco-friendly, organic PU foam filled and 100% waterproof. These come in red, white or black. You kittens know me, all black e’erything.

Upon first inspection, it kind of feels like a really plump bicycle seat, and the heart shape is adorable. It has a substantial weight to it and the surface is smooth and shiny. I can tell it will be easy to rinse off after each use and keep nice and clean. There are suction cups on the back that make it easy to adhere to any bathtub- though this would also work great in a hot tub or spa setting.

The heart shape isn’t just for cuteness. It cradles and supports your neck and head while helping to keep your back aligned in a corrective, comforting position. If you’re a tub-reader like me , it’s definitely nice to have a firm support in place instead of leaning your neck back against a hard, slippery surface. My friends and readers probably know by now, I’m a new bath product fiend. Just something about all those brightly colored bottles and jars of bubbly potions and lotions lining my shelves makes me feel happy and well-cared-for. But, you know, I’m also kind of spoiled by my holy grail trifecta: Philosophy, Lush and Bath & Body Works. It takes something special to edge out my favorites.

I feel like Dial and I are going to get along just fine, though. Just fine! According to the packaging: NEW Dial® Coconut Water Refreshing Mango body wash brings hydration to your body washing experience in a tropical fun new scent. I have to agree. The scent is delicious, like biting into a sun-ripened mango freshly picked from the tree.

The body wash is a cool, watery blue that suds up into a rich lather and rinses away cleanly without any sticky residue. My skin felt soft and refreshed and the scent made my bathtime into a sweet island retreat.

Bath & Body Works Haul!

Not that I need any more bath products, but the recent amazing Bath & Body Works sale proved irresistible. I managed not to go too crazy and got all of this, with the sale and a coupon, for around $30!

I was apparently in the mood for summery scents, coconut oil soaked beaches, wildflowers and Coney Island. I grabbed one of their huge 3 wick candles in Summer Boardwalk, which sounded intriguingly nostalgic. I went for the fragrance mist and shower gel in Wild Honeysuckle. It just reminds me of walks in the woods, my best friend Angie showing us how to separate the honeysuckle flowers and find the sweetness with our tongues. Her unkempt halo of frizzy curls, wide smiling cheeks dusted with freckles, those memories all smell like Wild Honeysuckle to me.

I decided not to get any lotions, I’m extremely overstocked. So I went a little nuts on shower gels instead. These work just as well for bubble baths and bubble baths happen to be one of my most important luxuries. Don’t judge me, okay! A life without small luxuries is a sad thing indeed. I got Warm Vanilla Sugar, which is one of my favorite scents from BBW. Then I veered back to my summer theme with several new scents I haven’t tried! Wild Citrus Sunflower just sounded so sunny and bright I couldn’t resist. Then I apparently was having a coconut craving, I got Coconut Vanilla, Exotic Coconut AND Aruba Coconut. In my defense, Aruba Coconut is a divine shade of shocking blue which rendered me senseless and unable to resist.

Lastly I picked up two five-packs of these little PocketBac Sanitizers- I got the Sweet Shop and Hawaii collections. The girls absolutely love these to take to school in their backpacks, and it makes me happy to keep a few of the nasty school germs away!

I could have gone on buying candles and trying new scents for days, but I managed to be a good girl and stop there. If anyone needs me I’ll be in my bubbly bath with a good book clutched in my pruny little fingers!
