I have to admit we’re kind of device junkies around here. From phones to iPads, iPad minis, iPods, a Kindle, a Samsung tablet…even the baby has her own “epad”, as she calls it, packed with little kid learning games and shows. So much of our work and socialization is online these days, it’s kind of important to always be connected. Plus I personally love having music with me throughout the day, my own personal little soundtrack. I truly never get over the amazement of being able to carry thousands of songs right in my pocket.
However, one of the downfalls of a digital life is the constant need to plug in and recharge. If you’re like us, you have drawers full of cords and chargers, some of which don’t even go to items you own anymore. They litter the dashboard of your car, the bottom of your purse. And here they’re constantly getting “misplaced” and “borrowed”, though mysteriously no one ever knows where they went. Don’t even get me started on traveling, when we spend far too much time maneuvering for plug-in space at hotel rooms and then trying to remember to collect all those chargers on the way out.
All of this is leading up to why I LOVE the the +LIFEGUARD MINI 1! This is a portable external battery that comes to the rescue when your phone or other compatible device needs a charge. It contains a smart plug & play Samsung-grade battery that makes charging on the go a total breeze.
It truly couldn’t be easier to use. You simply plug the Lifeguard Mini into a computer USB port or wall charger, letting it fully charge, which can take about 5 hours on a wall charger or up to 12 while hooked to the computer. Then slip it in your purse, backpack or briefcase until needed. When your phone or iPod starts blinking at you that it’s running low, plug your device into the handy Lifeguard Mini. Boom! You’re good to go. It’s so nice to have the peace of mind that this backup device offers.
Another nice thing is that it is lightweight and easily portable, it doesn’t take up much space. Right now they’re including an Apple-compatible lightning cable, which is a $14.00 value all by itself! They don’t mention this in the list of compatible devices, but this is actually also handy for anyone who vapes with rechargeable electronic cigarettes. Especially if you’re using those to quit smoking, having this extra layer of security on-hand can be a huge relief.
I can definitely see getting more of these for the rest of the family. I’m always on the lookout for useful stocking stuffers and I think these fit the bill perfectly!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
