This is the last in my series of cozy yet stylish fall outfits. Hopefully you’ll find a spark of inspiration to carry you through the last days of November and into the coming winter. By now most of the trees have dropped their fiery mantle, leaving stark branches austerely outlined against the sky. What better time to drape yourself in the deep, rich tones of an autumn forest. Rake the last coals of the bonfire and burn that much more brightly, be the final spice-hued leaf cluster swirling on the wind.
I built this outfit around a long paisley tunic with bell sleeves, 70s revival boho chic in shades of orange, purple, pink, white and black. It features gorgeous coppery-brown beading around the neckline. This is light and airy, so if the day is warm you can flutter around in the sunshine.
The handmade bangle bracelet with metal and jeweled charms by Twisted Silver lends coppery gold and amber hues.
But for those colder fall days, or cuddling up outside for talks that last late into the evening, I’ve added a tan colored chunky-knit sweater, open-front cardigan style to wrap you in warmth while allowing the colorful edges of the tunic to peek out. (A similar cardigan can be found here.)
A pair of olive green jeans by Miss Me serves as a mossy foundation, with a few sparkling jewel accents of their own. Striped socks by Button & Pleats draw from all the colors in this outfit. You’ll still look cute and coordinated even if you slip off your shoes for a while.
This fun bird tote by Art of Lunch is vibrant and playful in white oranges and blues and can hold all of your essentials or a delicious snack.
Creme Divine by L’Occitane en Provence will keep your skin creamy soft and smooth even on the harshest days. Volume Flash Scandaleyes mascara in Extreme Black by Rimmel London will give you insanely voluminous, fringe-y 70’s lashes. The yellow flower ring brigs a pop of bright color.
A Paris-themed journal and sketchbook allows you to capture your musings throughout the day. Wander Beauty On The Glow Blush in Coral/Nude Glow gives you a pretty, illuminated cheek. Tokidoki Lion Papa Art Palette contains subtle golden-pink shades of shimmery eyeshadow. Victoria’s Secret Shiny Kiss Gloss in Apple Cider brings a high gleam to your pout. For nails, I chose a combination of OPI‘s Leaf Him at the Altar, playing off the green tones in the jeans, with an accent of chunky gold glitter in Nicole’s Kissed at Midnight.
Oh right, and the boooots. I nearly forgot! (Ok, yeah, that would never happen.) The boots are a sueded and fur confection on a stacked platform heel featuring lacing and double buckles. So gorgeous and so cozy, these are from Carlos by Carlos Santana.
