I’m an avid baker, but I always hate using the built-in timer on my oven. For one, the buttons are at the back of the stovetop, which means I usually have to reach over boiling hot pans, fumble with buttons, and hope I remember to do this for each batch of whatever it is I’m making. This Epica Digital Timer is a seemingly simple, but wildly useful kitchen gadget to have handy for these occasions.
The numbers on this timer are huge and clear, easily visible from any vantage point. It is super simple to operate. There are minute and second buttons, which you just press until you reach the time you desire. Then you simply use the Stop/Start button to control when the timer starts, pauses and stops. It works for a maximum of 99 minutes and 59 seconds, which is more than sufficient for most tasks I can think of.
The alarm is also loud and clear, I could hear it all through the downstairs of my house. It continues to beep for a full minute until you shut it off. This means no more burned cookies!
I also love how flexible it is in terms of where you can place it. It has both a clip and a magnet so you can stick it on the fridge or clip it right onto your belt if you’re extra forgetful and multi-tasking. It also has a built in stand so you can place it on any flat surface in the kitchen. It could obviously be used for many other activities outside of cooking- really anything that has a time-sensitive component.
This is a high-quality timer and worked well for my needs.
