I received these High Fidelity Hearing protectors from DownBeats just in time for the 4th of July. Since we have our own fireworks display, along with loud music and a large group of friends and family, this seemed like the ideal time to test these out!
The fun thing about these hearing protectors is that they aren’t meant to block out all noise, just to protect your ears from the painful highs and lows that accompany certain situations. This allows for an evenly balanced sonic experience.
I was really impressed with the quality of sound these enabled. Even sitting right next to explosions, I didn’t end up with ringing ears or a headache. I wish I’d had these during my wild teenage years when every night was a new concert and my idea of fun was jumping in the pit with boys twice my size or dancing in front of the wall of speakers. Though I might have been too rebellious to use them then, they certainly would have saved my hearing.
Another cool thing is that they come in your choice of three shiny aluminum carrying cases- black, blue or purple. You cold easily clip this on to a key ring so it doesn’t get lost.
I am very satisfied with my DownBeats experience and would definitely recommend these.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
