Cottonelle® Flushable Cleansing Cloths and Clean Care toilet paper

Mornings here are often a frantic rush of absolute crazed levels. With one child homeschooling, two that have to catch the bus and a toddler with more energy than a nuclear reactor in the mix, keeping everything organized and managed can be challenging to say the least.

I’ve developed a pretty workable system at this point, that lets me make it through the morning without too much panic. For instance, I think a great morning really starts the night before. I encourage the girls to pick out their school outfits in the evening and hang them on the back of their closets. I also make a quick sweep of the house to make sure nothing vital needs to go in the laundry for the next day.

We also have an organized backpack/homework area where each child has a hanging folder with their name on it. Each night, it’s their responsibility to put any papers that I need to read or sign in those folders. I check them and return everything to their school binders before bed.

All this preparation cuts way down on frantic searching and arguing when morning comes. Then it’s just a matter of prying each child out of bed, trying to make sure everyone has something nutritious to start the day- and then hopefully at some point getting myself clean and presentable!

Now here’s the thing about living with lots of females and not enough bathrooms to go around: not matter how well you plan, you’re always rushing someone out or being rushed out yourself. Especially with younger girls who can be a little flighty and careless, this can unfortunately lead to a not-so-clean bottom. Which can lead to embarrassment, bad smells, tears and messes that, trust me, you don’t have time to deal with in the morning.

Cottonelle Flushable Wipes and Clean Care

That’s why I was pleased to try out the wet & dry system from Cottonelle! The Flushable Cleansing Cloths are kind of amazing. If you’ve ever felt like dry toilet paper alone wasn’t quite enough- and honestly, who hasn’t had that icky sensation of being not 100 percent clean after a bathroom visit? – then you really should give these a try.

I personally felt a million times more confident after using the cloths. I found that they do dry quickly, but it’s also nice to have the backup super soft Cottonelle Clean Care tissue paper for a quick dry swipe too. The sheets are extra wide and absorbent.

One other thing I love about teaching the toddler to use these- she’s currently mid-potty training and these are a nice transition from her diaper wipes. It’s much easier for her to get herself fully clean, which is important for her fiercely independent personality.

If you’d like to try them (and you should!), Rite-Aid is generously offering a $1.00 off coupon. Just click on the link below. You’ll be taken to a quick 30-second video, after which you’ll receive your coupon!

I’d love to hear your thoughts and opinions on the wet + dry combo.
