The frigid winter weather seems to have arrived full force, and with it dryer air that just sucks the moisture right out of my skin. Since I’m often so busy during the day that I forget to reapply moisturizer, I thought this Rejuvenating MultiVitamin Night Serum from Bio’Sensiya sounded like a great fit for me.
It comes in a tall glass pump bottle and is definitely more of a serum than a cream or lotion- very lightweight. It was non-greasy and immediately left a sort of invisible velvety veil on my face.
Among other active ingredients, this contains 15% Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that interrupts the free-radical damage process that causes skin to look and act older. That’s another reason I like the idea of using this at night, letting it work while your skin and mind are both resting, waking up to rejuvenated soft skin.
It also contains 1.5% Vitamin A (Retinol) which helps enhance skin beauty, texture and tone, lessens pigmentation, and boosts hydration. Retinol helps manage acne and eczema and improves discolorations. Ferulic acid (from rice bran oil) has antioxidant properties and helps neutralize free radicals. Vitamin D supports overall health of skin and prevents the outer layer from thinning.
Probably my only issue with the brand is the overly airbrushed model they’ve chosen to use- she’s almost cartoonish. I think it detracts from the overall image- the serum works well enough, why do that?
I found it to be a soothing, moisturizing experience for my face. I didn’t experience any breakouts or other issues while using it, which is nice with my delicate skin. I feel that long term use would help keep fine lines in check and improve the overall appearance and health of my skin!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
