When I received my September Glossybox in the mail, I realized just how far behind I’d gotten on posting! It’s been a crazy few months here. Since I’d already taken the pictures and I like the continuity, I will now take you baaaack, back in time to the August Glossybox!
First we had Uberliss Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner in 2 fl oz sample sizes. These smelled nice, thanks to the interesting mix of ingredients- royal jelly, blueberry, apple, sugarcane, green tea and lemon peel!
Next was Eslor Firming Collagen Day Cream. At $85 for a 1.7 oz jar, this stuff is holy molar out of my price range. Which is the nice thing about these boxes, getting to try products that would never be within your reach otherwise.
Then we have the Kryolan Highlighter in Cashmere, made especially for this third birthday edition of Glossybox. I admit I never have gotten the hang of contouring my face with makeup, though I have seen some impressive Youtube videos explaining how. I think I mostly just don’t have the patience for it. This retails at $18.95 for a tiny .15 oz jar.
The Eyeko London Skinny Mini Liquid Liner in Black was more my speed. I love a fun, precise cat eye and this smudge-proof liner is easy to work with. ($16.00)
I’ve been a fan of SpaRitual nail colors for a while now. I find their colors and textures always interesting and somewhat unexpected. They didn’t fail me here, with their Explore Color Collection. I received (80445) Wilderness, which is a shimmering peachy pink confection that goes on like a glittery dreamsicle. The texture once dry is rough to the touch, a pleasing tactile sensation.
