Adore Box: March 2019 Edition

I have received sample items to facilitate my post.

Spring can be one of the most fun times to indulge in my beauty box obsession. I’m more likely to be out on adventures, which gives me more opportunities to wear new products and shades! Today I have the March Adore Box to share with you kittens. The little rabbit figurine just leapt into the picture and wanted to help show everything off, so he’s out honorary ambassador for the month.

I want to start with this one because I love the shade (230 Naughty Mauve). This is Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tint. It’s more of stain but it’s also moisturizing so it’s not too heavy, plus it gives you that look as if you just got this lip color by eating fresh berries that you gathered in your pinafore on a lovely spring jaunt through the woods. That’s how I usually get mine, anyway. If you don’t have any berry bushes nearby, or own a pinafore, you can cheat and use this product.

The tip is an unusual, wide, soft cushion. You twist the tip until the product starts to flow through- it took more twisting than I expected to get the lip stain flowing. This is a full sized product and retails for $9.99.

This Elastic Headband from Clinique is great if you’re basically a mess like I am. I mean, I can somehow get toothpaste in my hair while brushing my teeth. I need all the help I can get. Use this to hold your hair back while cleansing your skin or applying makeup. This feels very spa-like in white and has the brand logo embroidered in lavender. A 14.99 value.

Next we have my favorite item from this month’s beauty box: Measurable Difference Slanted Tip Tweezer. These are durable electroplated stainless steel in a pretty Rose Gold color. They have an adorable “I <3 U” cutout on the front, something I’ve never seen before! They come with a cute little zippered pouch for storage. ARV $23.00.

Last for this month is a Real Nature Pomegranate Face Mask from The Face Shop. I know the market is flooded with face masks right now, but this one is free from parabens, mineral oil and other potentially harmful ingredients commonly found in them. These are individually packaged and sell for $5.00 each.

With subscription beauty boxes, I always like to conclude with the question: Is it worth it? This month’s Adore Box has a value of over $50, which means you’re only paying a fraction of retail. So if you enjoy being surprised by products you otherwise might not try, it’s a treat worth getting in my opinion!
