I’m glad I found Adore Box when they were fairly new, because I feel like they’re just getting better with time. They’re such a nice little treat every month and lately they’ve been mixing things up a good bit so I never know what to expect. I do receive these packages for free, but all opinions are always my own.
Let’s start out with the Measurable Difference Blush On Cream Blush. This pretty shade is called Fuchsia Girl, and it really doesn’t look like a fuchsia to me- more like a flattering pale pink. The formula is super creamy and blends like a dream. The full-size stick retails for $6.00.
Korean face masks are a mild obsession lately, so I’m always excited to try a new one. This one is called Korean Essence Face Mask and as usual, since it’s described all in Korean on the packaging, I have no idea about the details. It feels like a basic moisturizing mask, just soft and refreshing. It retails for $2.99.
One of my favorites from this month is the Glo by Glory SemiMatte Liquid Lipstick. I’m usually not a huge matte lipstick fan, I’m just a glossy girl at heart, but this one didn’t feel annoyingly gummy or dry. Plus the color, Love Muffin, is so gorgeous that I couldn’t resist its charms. This lipstick lasts all day and is cruelty free, which is also a huge plus. Full size retails for $18.00.
The next thing is kind of strange and interesting: GoCubes Chewable Coffee. I’m honestly still not sure what I think of these. They do taste like coffee and they have a kind of gritty texture weirdly reminiscent of coffee grounds (okay, not that I’ve ever chewed on any coffee grounds to reminisce about). I think my nieces will love these, because they’re obsessed with energy drinks. Anyway, each small cube is the equivalent of half a cup of coffee, so if you’re on the go these could give you a little boost.
I like to save the best for last, and this month it is this lovely Natural Stone Necklace. I’m a big fan of pretty, healing stones and crystals, especially ones that are more rough cut. I also love those ones that are dipped in metal on one end. They just make me feel grounded and connected to the earth. I think this one would be awesome layered with a bunch of other necklaces in various sizes. It comes on a fine silver colored chain with a lobster claw clasp and this retails for $20.00.
So is Adore Box worth it? This month I have to give it a resounding yes! The necklace alone is worth more than the highest possible price you could pay for an individual box. Th is month you would be getting almost $50 in value, plus trying some fun new products you might otherwise never have encountered!
