Adore Box: January Edition

Adore Box: January Edition

Subscription boxes can be kind of addicting. They’re like a little surprise gift to yourself each month! And who doesn’t love surprises? Whether it’s a beauty box, a food box, or even one created for your pet, these are always fun.

Adore Box is a combination of several categories. They offer an option of three different sizes. The Monthly Box contains 4-10 hand-selected items. According to their site, these may include Makeup, Hair Care, Skin Care, Jewelry, Edibles, Accessories, and/or Housewares. These items may be sample, full size or a combination of both. These boxes are priced at $15.00 each.

The 2x Monthly box contains two of each product from the regular monthly box and costs $25.00.

Then they have the more luxurious Quarterly Premium option: 4-10 clothing, accessories, beauty & lifestyle items. This may include: Clothing; Accessories; Makeup; Fragrance; Hair Care Products; Skin Care Products; Nail Products; Accessories; Edibles; Housewares & More. These items will be all full size (not including bonus items). Ships January, April, July & October and costs $39.99.

You can also get a better deal by pre-paying for an ongoing monthly subscription.

Now on to the goodies that were in my January Adore Box, which I know is what you really want to hear! All of the items in this box were in the Beauty category.

First of all there was a Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser. This stuff is good for all skin types. I love how ultra-creamy it is and the way you can really feel it tingling as it cleans out your pores. This is a generous 1 oz sample tube.

Next we have a brand I’d personally never heard of: Hippie Skin. This is a 0.5 oz. sample size of Hippie Skin Hippie Balm Calm Hand & Body Lotion. This lotion says it’s 100% natural and the ingredients seem to agree- Aloe extract, coconut oil, sweet almond, apricot kernel, grape seed, avocado and jojoba oils, as well as a plant-based preservative. These products are hand-crafted in UT. The lotion smells delicious and goes on with a non-greasy feel.

One of my favorites from the box are these Wet n Wild Under the Sheets Makeup Remover Towelettes. They’re gentle for sensitive skin and so handy for wiping the day from your face. I can never have too many of these.

This BioAqua Collagen Nourish Lips was a cute surprise. I adore Korean beauty products, including the packaging. This is basically a mask for softening your lip area, you put it on and let it dissolve, hydrating your delicate lip skin.

The box also included a small 0.17 oz sample of Estee Lauder Matte Perfecting Primer, which works like a charm to give you that photo-ready makeup look and a really nice Glass Nail File.

So is the Adore Box worth it? Breaking down what each sample size would cost compared to it’s full size, you are getting bout $15.00 worth of product here. You aren’t getting a huge discount, but you’re also not getting ripped off. Plus it gives you the chance to try smaller sizes of products before you commit to buying the more expensive full sizes.

Even better, if you want to try Adore Box out for yourself, they’re offering the first box at 50% off with code HALFOFF, which definitely turns this into a great deal.

Let me know what you think or tell me about another beauty box or subscription box that you’ve tried, I’d love to hear your opinions!

I have received sample products to help facilitate my post.
