I have received sample products to help facilitate my review.
February makes me happy with the suffusion of hearts and flowers and lovely treats. Adore Box for February definitely added a little glow to the festivities. In case you missed my January post, you can read back through to find out what Adore Box is all about.
This month, they brought back Hippie Skin with samples of their highly pigmented makeup line. I love that their products are 100% natural. The Hippie Dust eyeshadows are deep, rich and gorgeous. They provide amazing coverage with just a tiny bit of product, which for me is always a sign of good quality. The full sized Hippie Dust shadows are available for $20.00.
One thing I like about Adore Box is that I get to try new products I’ve never heard of before. This month, that product was the Busy Beauty Showerless Shave Gel. This comes in a pretty pump bottle and is kind of every girl’s dream. I personally know how often I’ve worn shorts out in public, then looked down to realize I’d missed a crucial spot. Also how often we’re on the go and I’m lucky if I get clean, let alone shaved! The Showerless Shave Gel is also moisturizing to give you a touchable finish. Oh, one other bonus is that it’s vegan, cruelty free AND TSA approved. My package included a full size 3.4 oz bottle, which retails for $14.99.
Also included in the box was a voucher for 25 free prints from Parabo Press. This service lets you print square-shaped photos from your Instagram page. I haven’t received my prints yet, so I can’t vouch for the quality, but I think it’s a great concept.
I saved my favorite item for last! Maybelline Color Jolt Intense Lip Paint. I’m a huge fan of the red statement lip, the two key components of which are precise application and the perfect shade. This lip paint delivers on both fronts, with a heart-stopping shade of vibrant red along with a precision felt-tip applicator. The box contained a full-sized tube, which retails for $8.99.
Is it worth it? I’d put the value of this month’s box at very much worth it. The single boxes are $15 each, which was covered by the cost of the shave gel alone. So it’s basically like you bought that product and got the rest of the items as a free bonus!
