When I mentioned to one of my friends that I was going to review an eyelash curler, she asked what I feel is an extremely valid question: “Is there really any difference between eyelash curlers?” I told her I think there definitely is and after testing out the Eye & Mighty Eyelash Curler, my opinion has only been reinforced.
If you’ve ever used a cheaply made curler you probably know exactly what I mean. They just feel flimsy and easily breakable, and seem destined to pinch your eyelids. So your eyelash curler not only looks like some medieval torture device, it also feels like one.
Not so with the Eye & Mighty! First of all, the box is adorable. Why don’t more companies take advantage of necessary packaging to make a cute statement?
More importantly, as soon as you grip the pretty matte metallic red handles in your fingers, you’ll notice the weight of a well-made product. In fact, the hefty pull of the spring-action was a little intimidating before I tried them. The worry was needless, though. They gripped my lashes delicately with no tugging or pinching.
I tried them with one layer of Rimmel ScandalEyes mascara and a bit of Mary LouManizer for sparkle. My lashes are usually stick-straight with no natural curl.
The 2 Eye & Mighty certainly helped give them some lift and curl, as well as making for a smoother mascara application. I didn’t try it with false lashes, but I can tell it would be extra useful for blending your natural lashes with falsies. I will be adding this as a new tool in my beauty routine for days when I want to look and feel more glamorous!
And now for the exciting news! Bella and Bear has generously offered to gift one of my sweet yams with their very own Eye & Might Eyelash Curler! You know you want to try it. Just follow the directions in the Rafflecopter form below to be entered. This giveaway is open to US residents only. Delivery of the prize is the sole responsibility of the sponsor.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
I’ve only used one eyelash curler before, and it was a pretty cheap one, so I’d be really excited to win this one!
Uhh, I have used one or two a few times. I haven’t gotten it down yet. haha Mine did pinch when I tried to get really close in. I wonder if its because its a cheap one! You have a beautiful eye there. 🙂

i have never used an eyelash curler but would love to try
I have not used an eyelash curler but have always wanted to! Mascara is my ultimate favorite make up product though. I like to try many different ones.:)
I don’t have much recent experience with eyelash curlers. I used to use them when I was younger. Now I really need to, though.
I am in love with the L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Extraordinaire Lip Color in Fuschia Orchestra. It’s a bright bold pink and it’s non sticky and moisturizing.

I love to use curlers but not had much luck with them as they usually catch my eyelid skin and pinch me
I have very thin eyelashes and am hoping that an eyelash curler will help them to look thicker.

Right now I’m loving Younique 3D Lash Mascara. This eyelash curler will help to make my eyes pop out even more!
I love eyelash curlers! I use one everyday!
I’ve had such bad luck with eyelash curlers I’ve basically given up. I’m looking for new hope!:)
I agree. There is a difference among eye-lash curlers. I was using a different brand then and I wasn’t too happy with it because it couldn’t seem to curl my lashes well, so I switched to Eye & Mighty and it just works great for me. If you want to try it, check out http://amzn.to/1sErQmf
